Dr Amit Kharat has been working in the medical field since 2002. Dr Amit started as a Professor and Researcher at Padmashree Dr D. Y. Patil Vidyapeeth, where they were responsible for postgraduate radiology teaching, guiding students, and designing postgraduate radiology training programs for the department. In 2006, they joined Ruby Ailcare Services Private Limited as Chief Consultant (Quality Assurance Radiologist) for CT & MRI - Cross-Sectional Imaging. In 2008, they became Director (Quality Assurance Radiologist) at Cyber Teleradiology Private Limited, where they provided TeleRadiology Consultancy Services, integrated client PACS, interpreted DICOM images, ensured HIPAA compliance, developed workflows, finalized reports, assessed client feedback, and conducted audits of the entire process. In 2017, they became Co-Founder of DeepTek.

Dr Amit Kharat began their education in 1991 at Fergusson College. In 1993, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Medicine MBBS from B. J. Medical College and continued their education at BJ Medical College & Sassoon General Hospitals, where they earned an MBBS, DMRD, DNB, MNAMS, PGDHHM, PhD, FICR between 1993 and 2002. Dr Amit then completed a DNB in Diagnostic Radiology Residency Program at National Board Examinations, New Delhi from 2002 to 2004. In 2004, they obtained a PGDHHM from Indira Gandhi National Open Univ (IGNOU). In 2007, they earned a PhD in Radiology from Padmashree Dr D. Y. Patil Vidyapeeth. In 2018, they completed an Artificial Intelligence - Implications for Business Strategy course at MIT Sloan School of Management. Dr Amit also has several additional certifications, including a Fellowship of Indian College of Radiology and Imaging from the Indian College of Radiology Imaging in 2016, an Ultrasound Refresher Course from the International Skeletal Society in 2015, a Cardiac CT Training from Sir Gangaram Hospital in 2014, a NABH Progarmme on Implementation Course for Medical Imaging Services from NABH in 2013, and a Basic Course Workshop in Medical Education Technologies from MCI Regional Centre for MET, MUHS and DPU in 2013.
