Michael Maizel

Michael Maizel has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Michael currently works at deepwatch as the Director of Solutions Architecture since December 2021. Prior to this role, they worked at BlueVoyant as a Solutions Architect from April 2019 to September 2021. At BlueVoyant, their responsibilities included leading technical presentations, conducting trainings, and responding to prospect Requests for Proposals (RFPs). Before joining BlueVoyant, they were a Senior Business Development Manager at NWT Media Group from June 2017 to April 2019, where they focused on video marketing and brand exposure services. From September 2013 to April 2019, they served as the Director of Technology and Remote Sales at NewsWatch, a news program airing in over 200 markets in the U.S. Prior to that, they worked as a Personnel Consultant at Medix Staffing Solutions from January 2013 to August 2013, specializing in healthcare staffing. Michael also has experience in the automotive industry, having served as a Branch Manager at Enterprise Rent-A-Car from June 2010 to December 2012. Michael started their career as an intern at the Montgomery County Police Department in September 2008 and later interned at the U.S. Department of Justice in the summer of 2008. Michael also has retail experience as an Assistant Manager at RadioShack from October 2004 to May 2009.

Michael Maizel M.S. received a Master of Science degree in Cybersecurity Technologies from the University of Maryland Global Campus in 2019. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminology from the University of Maryland in 2009. Additionally, they obtained various certifications, including Microsoft 365 Certified: Security Administrator Associate from Microsoft in 2020, and CompTIA A+ ce in 2016. Most recently, they achieved the Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate certification in 2021.
