Mike Palovich

Mike Palovich is an accomplished medicinal chemist currently serving as Vice President of Medicinal Chemistry at Recursion since May 2023. Prior to this role, Mike held the position of Chief Scientific Officer and Head of Drug Discovery at Cyclica from February 2022 to May 2023. Mike's extensive career at GSK spanned over two decades, where Mike progressed through various leadership roles, including Senior Director and Senior Fellow in the In Silico Drug Discovery Unit, and contributed significantly as the Head of multiple drug discovery teams. Mike's educational background includes a postdoctoral research position in Organic Chemistry from the University of Virginia, a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from the University of Pittsburgh, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Organic Chemistry from Allegheny College.
