Nigel Everett

Nigel Everett has a strong background in cybersecurity and telecommunications. Nigel co-founded DEFEND LTD. in 2015 and served as the Director and Co-Founder. At DEFEND, they led a security practice that focused on auditing and compliance, consultancy, cloud/data center connectivity, network services, application performance, endpoint protection, and threat intelligence. Nigel also provided managed cybersecurity outsourcing and consulting services to various industries. In 2016, Nigel joined ADVANCED TECHNOLOGIES ANZ as a Director. Prior to that, they worked at Datacom (NZ) for ten years as the Senior General Manager, where they built and developed their Managed Cyber Security business and managed network services for various industry verticals.

Nigel Everett pursued their education in different institutions for various periods. In 1991, they attended Glasgow Caledonian University, where they studied Retail & Business Management until 1992. Later, in 2010, they enrolled at Macquarie Graduate School of Management (MGSM), completing a degree in Datacom MGSM focusing on Business Management in 2011. Lastly, in 2014, Nigel attended Harvard Business School for a brief period, specializing in LCOR - Leading Change and Organisational Renewal.
