Naanibah Begay

Coordinator, Center For Conservation Innovation at Defenders of Wildlife

Naanibah Begay is an environmental professional with a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science from Colorado College, graduated in 2017. Currently serving as the Coordinator at the Center for Conservation Innovation for Defenders of Wildlife since July 2020, Naanibah has previously worked as an Environmental Specialist at the Eight Northern Indian Pueblos Council, Inc. from August 2017 to July 2020. Additional experience includes roles as a Cashier at Bon Appétit Management Company, a Student Intern with the Quinault Indian Nation Division of Natural Resources, and participation in the Doris Duke Conservation Scholars Program. Earlier professional experiences also include working as an Office Assistant at Rocky Mountain Community Land Trust and as a Student Intern at the Harvard University Native American Program.
