Orion Cruz

Orion Cruz is an experienced professional who has worked in various environmental organizations and government agencies. Currently serving as an International Associate at Defenders of Wildlife, Cruz is dedicated to advocating for wildlife conservation, developing partnerships, and implementing strategies to combat illegal wildlife trade. As a Legal Counsel to the Ministry of Natural Resources, Environment, and Tourism in the Republic of Palau, Cruz provided legal support in various environmental matters. With a strong education background in law and environmental studies, Cruz has been actively involved in international conferences, campaigns, and projects related to climate change, marine conservation, and environmental policy.
