Dan Willison has a diverse work experience in the defense sector. Dan currently serves as the Director Customer Operations at Defense Logistics Agency since July 2021. Prior to that, they were the Deputy Maintenance Group Commander at Pacific Air Forces from June 2020 to June 2021. From June 2017 to June 2020, they held the same position at Air Combat Command. Before that, they were the Chief Weapons System Branch at Air Force Special Operations Command from July 2015 to June 2017. Dan also served as a Squadron Commander at Air Force Global Strike Command from July 2013 to July 2015, and at United States Air Force from July 2011 to July 2013.

Dan Willison earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Management from Florida State University in the years 1997 to 2000. Dan then went on to receive a Master of Business Administration degree with a focus on Aviation from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in 2006. In addition, Dan completed the Joint Logistics Course at the Army Logistics University - College of Professional and Continuing Education in 2016, and attended the USAF Air War College in 2017. Dan also attended the USAF Air Command and Staff College in 2010, although the degree obtained is not specified.
