Anthony McBride has over 20 years of experience in various roles within the technology and consulting industry. Anthony is currently working as a Lead Solution Architect at the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, where they are responsible for designing and reviewing solutions and advising on system-wide updates. Prior to this, they worked as an Architect at the Department for Education, focusing on application transformation and developing Agile working practices. Besides, they have held positions at nimbus, ISG, Deloitte, Hewlett-Packard Enterprise, AT&T Consulting, BG Group, Siemens Business Services, and IBM Global Services, where they gained expertise in areas such as technical implementation, master solutions architecture, and data center design.

Anthony McBride attended Campion High School from 1982 to 1987, where they focused on O Levels. Anthony then attended Widnes Sixth Form College from 1988 to 1990, but did not pursue a specific degree. Following that, they enrolled at De Montfort University from 1990 to 1995 and obtained a BSc (Hons) degree in Computer Science. In 2022, they obtained a certification as a Certified Government SQ Reviewer from the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs.
