Bas Stottelaar

Bas Stottelaar has a diverse work experience with a focus on software development. Bas is currently working as a Senior Software Developer at Deftpower since September 2021. Previously, they worked at Micro's and More as a Software Engineer from January 2012 onwards, and at Alliander as both a Software Developer and a Senior Software Developer from May 2020 to August 2021. Bas also served as a Software Developer/Architect at Allego from December 2017 to May 2020 and as an Embedded Software Engineer at Altran Nederland from July 2016 to November 2017.

Before that, they worked as a Webdeveloper at Paiq BV from June 2012 to February 2015 and at De Online Leeromgeving from July 2010 to June 2012. Bas also gained experience at the University of Twente, where they had various roles such as Staff Exhibitions at Studie-informatiecentrum from July 2010 to December 2011, Study advisor at EEMCS from November 2008 to November 2011, and Front-office employee at Studie-informatiecentrum from April 2009 to June 2010. Additionally, they served as the Commissioner Internal Affairs at I.C.T.S.V. Inter-Actief from October 2010 to October 2011.

Bas Stottelaar started their career as a Software Developer at ENTV in June 2008 and continued until the present, working on project-based assignments focused on developing applications for narrowcasting solutions using C#.

Bas Stottelaar completed their education in a chronological order. Bas obtained a VWO-diploma from Marianum College between 2002 and 2008. Bas then pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science at the University of Twente from 2008 to 2012. After that, they continued their studies at the University of Twente and obtained a Master's Degree in Computer Security from 2012 to 2015.

In addition to their formal education, Bas Stottelaar has also acquired several certifications. In 2015, they obtained the Professional Scrum Master I certification from Scrum.org. In 2018, they earned two certifications, namely Microsoft 20535A and Professional Scrum Developer I. The following year, Bas obtained the ISTQB Foundation Level certification from Pearson VUE and also became a Bedrijfshulpverlener (BHV) through NIBHV.

In 2019, Bas Stottelaar acquired three certifications: Exam 483: Programming in C# from Microsoft, Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals, and Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate (legacy). Bas'smost recent certification, the Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate, was obtained in 2021.
