Hal Gibson

Hal Gibson is currently working at Degreed as the Vice President of Engineering, leading a 45-person remote engineering team in the development of the Learning Experience Platform (LXP) web app. Prior to this role, Hal held positions at companies such as athenahealth, Ticom Geomatics, Overwatch Systems, Multimedia Games, and DNP Photo Imaging America, where Hal successfully led cross-functional teams in delivering software products and meeting revenue commitments. Hal holds a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science from The University of Texas at Austin and a Master of Science in Software Engineering from the University of Houston-Clear Lake.
