Ryan Niehaus has a diverse work experience in marketing and communications. Ryan started their career as a Marketing Assistant Intern at the Illinois State University Athletic Department, where they assisted in marketing and promotions for athletic events. Ryan then worked as a Teller at Commerce Bank, providing exceptional customer service and achieving sales goals.

Ryan then transitioned into the field of e-communications, first as an Outreach Assistant at Heartland Community College, managing digital and data initiatives for the Alumni Association. Ryan then joined the University of Colorado Boulder as an Alumni E-Communications Coordinator, leading the e-communications program and increasing user adoption. Ryan was promoted to E-Communications Program Manager, overseeing all Alumni Association e-communication initiatives and achieving significant improvements in email open and click-through rates.

After their time at the University of Colorado Boulder, Ryan worked at Yesmail as an Email Marketing Manager, responsible for managing complex accounts and improving department processes. Ryan then joined Registria as a Digital Marketing Manager, where they built and maintained marketing automation campaigns. Later, they became the Marketing Services Team Lead, providing strategic recommendations to clients.

Ryan then joined Galvanize Inc as an Email Marketing Manager, guiding leads through the funnel and collaborating with stakeholders to deliver email initiatives. Most recently, they joined Degreed as a Marketing Automation Manager, setting the vision for customer lifecycle stages, managing marketing technology, and collaborating with stakeholders for improved efficiency and sales.

Ryan Niehaus received their Master's degree in Business Administration from Illinois State University from 2008 to 2010. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from the Gies College of Business - University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 2003 to 2007. In addition to their formal education, Ryan also obtained a certification in "Writing Emails People Want to Read" from LinkedIn in January 2022.
