Panagiotis Papadimitriou

Panagiotis Papadimitriou is a seasoned engineering leader with extensive experience in data science and technology. Currently serving as the Head of Engineering for the Facebook Integrity team at Meta since September 2016, Panagiotis manages a team of approximately 200 engineers across multiple locations, focusing on the integrity of various Facebook app products. Panagiotis is also an active angel investor for companies like Wikifarmer, Lambda Automata, and Ergeon. Prior to Meta, Panagiotis held senior roles at Upwork and Elance-oDesk, leading significant data science initiatives and teams. Panagiotis co-founded Caloricious and served as an advisor at MAVATAR TECHNOLOGIES INC. Educationally, Panagiotis earned a PhD in Electrical Engineering - Computer Science from Stanford University, where the dissertation focused on algorithms for web advertising.
