Rob Williams

SVP, Investor Relations at Dell Technologies

Rob Williams has over 30 years of experience in the retail industry, with a focus on investor relations and finance. Rob began their career as a financial analyst in corporate treasury at Dell, where they worked part-time during the school year and full-time during the summers. Rob assisted the foreign exchange hedging team, the treasury operations team and published weekly executive reporting on global foreign exchange, debt and equity markets.

In 1986, Rob was hired into Hagerty Furniture Companies, Inc.'s management training program. Upon completion of the program, they served as an assistant store manager and then as store manager responsible for all aspects of a $10M annual sales business including operations, marketing and advertising, financing, sales and merchandising.

Rob joined Dell Technologies as SVP of Investor Relations in 1993. In this role, they are responsible for developing and executing Dell’s investor relations strategy in order to enhance shareholder value. This includes communicating Dell’s financial story to the investment community, providing guidance to senior management on shareholder expectations and perceptions, and coordinating all activities related to Dell’s investor communications program.

Rob Williams has a Master's Degree in Finance and Accounting from Texas A&M University, and a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Management from The University of Texas at Austin.

Rob Williams works with Sean Dougan - SVP, Finance, Kieran McDaid - VP Finance, North America, Global Accounts and Original Equipment Manufacturing Finance, and Wade Baze - VP, Finance. Rob Williams reports to Tom Sweet, CFO.
