Deltares
Joost Delsman is a senior researcher at Deltares with a focus on fresh water availability in the Dutch context. In the past, Joost was a PhD student at VU University Amsterdam, where the research focused on the interaction between saline groundwater and surface water in coastal lowlands. Joost has a Ph.D. in Hydrology and Water Resources Science from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, and an MSc in Physical Geography from Utrecht University. Prior to their current role, Joost worked as a hydrologist at Rijkswaterstaat RIZA.
