W. Casey Wilson

W. Casey Wilson has a diverse work experience in the field of biopharma and research. W. Casey currently works at DEM Biopharma, Inc. as the Principal Scientist, focusing on target discovery. Prior to this, they worked at Arch Oncology for four years, where they held various roles including Lead of Target Biology, Senior Scientist, and Research Scientist. W. Casey also worked at the Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis as an Instructor In Medicine and a Postdoctoral Research Associate, investigating the role of epigenetic regulation in leukemia. Additionally, they served as a PhD Student at the Wellcome Trust Centre for Mitochondrial Research, studying the role of mitochondrial poly(A) polymerase in mitochondrial gene expression and disease. Before that, they worked as a Laboratory Technician II at MitoSciences, testing pharmaceutical compounds for mitochondrial toxicity. W. Casey started their career as an Undergraduate Lab Assistant at the University of Oregon.

W. Casey Wilson obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry from the University of Oregon from 2005 to 2008. Subsequently, from 2010 to 2013, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Molecular Biology at Newcastle University.
