Jens Jørgen Dammerud

Jens Jørgen Dammerud is a highly experienced acoustician and audio engineer with a diverse background in both academic and practical applications of acoustics. Currently serving as an acoustician at Oslo Musikkråd and as an acoustics consultant at Brekke & Strand Akustikk AS, Dammerud also engages in multiple freelance audio engineering roles at prominent venues such as Nasjonal jazzscene and Den Norske Opera & Ballett. In addition, Dammerud lectures on music and piano acoustics at Norges musikkhøgskole. With a PhD in Acoustics for Symphony Orchestras from the University of Bath and a Master of Science in Acoustics from NTNU, this professional possesses a robust foundation in the field, complemented by extensive experience in sound engineering for various media outlets, including Norsk rikskringkasting (NRK).
