William Porterfield

William Porterfield currently serves as President and co-founder of Denali Wealth Management since January 2021. With an extensive background in financial planning, Porterfield has been a Financial Planner at Lincoln Financial Advisors since February 1987. Prior to entering the financial services industry, Porterfield played professional baseball with the Texas Rangers Baseball Club from June 1982 to March 1984 and with the Chicago Cubs from March 1984 to March 1985. Academically, Porterfield earned a CRPC degree in Financial Planning and Services from the College for Financial Planning (2012-2013) and holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of North Texas (1985-1988), having also attended Oklahoma State University (1980-1981).
