Judith Kim

Judith Kim has worked in the legal field since 1995. Judith began their career as a Judicial Clerk for the United States Bankruptcy Court in the Central District for Honorable Kathleen Lax. Judith then worked as an Associate at Danning, Gill, Diamond & Kollitz, where they researched and drafted various motions and pleadings, reviewed and evaluated the validity of claims, and filed objections to those claims. Judith then moved to Miles, Wright, Finlay & Zak, where they specialized in all areas of bankruptcy and unlawful detainer law. In 2001, they opened their own practice, the Law Office of Judith J. Kim, where they counseled clients regarding various corporate, commercial, litigation, bankruptcy, and unlawful detainer matters. In 2006, they joined Hanmi Bank as SVP, Acting General Counsel & Corporate Secretary, where they managed the legal department of a $3.5 billion, publicly traded (NASDAQ stock symbol – HAFC) Korean-American bank with over 500 employees and 27 branches. In 2019, they joined DentalXChange as General Counsel and Corporate Secretary, where they prepared and filed all corporate filings in various states and filed all trademark registrations, drafted and implemented a Succession Plan, Remote Work Policy, and Pandemic Safety Plan in light of the COVID-19 pandemic, and reviewed and updated all the master agreements including vendor agreement, trading partner agreement, and nondisclosure agreement.

Judith Kim attended Loyola Law School, Los Angeles from 1990 to 1994, where they obtained their Juris Doctorate. Prior to that, they attended the University of California, Davis from 1986 to 1990 and obtained a B.A. in Political Science. Judith was certified by the State Bar of California in June 1995.
