Emily Weiss

Originally from New York, Emily has always had a passion for working with people, especially youth. This passion took her from undergrad at Fordham University in the Bronx, to a high school counselor in rural Belize, and finally to Colorado to pursue her master’s degree in Social Work at the University of Denver seven years ago. Since then Emily has worked to provide educational opportunities and support to youth in Denver Public Schools and finds that fighting for equity in education is not only beneficial for students but society as a whole. She is ecstatic to serve as the Denver Scholarship Foundation College Advisor at CEC Early College and to continue her commitment to youth and their shared community.
