Christie Hanson

Christie Hanson is an experienced professional currently serving as the Principal Program Leader at the Department of Premier and Cabinet (Tas) since February 2022, previously holding the role of Team Leader. Prior experience includes significant roles at the Department of Health, Tasmania, from August 2015 to February 2022, where Christie was a Communications Advisor for the COVID-19 Emergency Coordination Centre and held various positions such as Senior Communications Officer and Coordinator for Executive and Ministerial Services. Christie also contributed to the City of Kalgoorlie Boulder as the Development Services Administration Team Leader from June 2013 to September 2015 and served as the Assistant Partnership Coordinator at the Department of Premier and Cabinet (Tas) earlier in their career. Christie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from the University of Tasmania.
