Amber Grimmer currently serves as an International Rule of Law Assistant to the Judicial Liaison at the U.S. Department of State, with a focus on managing relationships between the Department and the Judicial Branch. Previous experiences include a Human Rights Intern position at the Institute for Justice & Democracy in Haiti and a Fulbright English Teaching Assistantship in Andorra. Grimmer has also contributed as a Spanish Community-Based Learning Research Assistant and a French Peer Tutor at the University of Notre Dame. Additional roles include Economic Development Intern for Proyecto ENLACE del Caño Martin Peña, Employment Clinic Client-Intake Intern at Bolsa de Empleo INCAMI, and various research assistant positions. Grimmer holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Economics and Peace Studies from the University of Notre Dame and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Law degree at the University of California, Los Angeles - School of Law.
