Nicole Lowery has extensive experience in international affairs and program evaluation, currently serving as Team Lead for the Applied Learning & Evaluation Unit within the U.S. Department of State's Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights and Labor since June 2013. Previous roles at the U.S. Department of State include Special Assistant in the Office of the Under Secretary for Civilian Security, Democracy, and Human Rights, and Management and Program Analyst. Prior to their tenure at the State Department, Nicole held the position of Evaluation Specialist for the Middle East Partnership Initiative at MSI, and served as Senior Manager at Development & Training Services, Inc. Additionally, Nicole was Director at Chemonics International. Nicole holds an MA in International Affairs from American University and a degree from Georgetown University.
