Tova Rabin

Attorney at Derek Smith Law Group, PLLC

Tova began her legal career with an interest in business and transactional law. However, as she progressed through law school, she learned her true passion was in helping employees get justice and fight for their rights in the workplace. She began studying employment law, employment discrimination, and sexual harassment law.

As soon as she began her legal career, she discovered her true passion was helping her clients. She loved learning their stories and finding the best way to help them succeed in their legal journey. Tova feels their stories are essential to learning about who they are and what they have gone through in the workplace. She takes each case personally, as though she is helping her own mother, sister, or family member protect their livelihood.

Tova earned her Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Drexel University Kline School of Law. During law school, Tova was an arbitration competitor on the Alternative Dispute Resolution Team, president of the Sports and Entertainment Law Society, member of the Women in Law Society, and president of the Community Service Initiative. Additionally, Tova was selected to attend the Peggy Browning Workers’ Rights Conference, which solidified her interest in employment and labor law. While in law school, Tova was a research assistant for Professor Natalie Pederson, during which she researched the effects of the MeToo Movement on court decisions and rulings involving hostile work environment cases.
