Matthew Shell

Matthew Shell has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Matthew is the Co-Founder and CTO of ThriveSmart since February 2023. Prior to that, they founded and served as the CEO of How Would You Describe Me? since February 2022. Before their entrepreneurial ventures, Matthew worked as an Information Technology Project Manager at DeSales Media Group starting from May 2019. Matthew also owned and managed Wine365.com from January 2015 to February 2019. Matthew gained experience in IT strategy consulting as an IT Strategy Consultant at Accenture from January 2012 to June 2014. Matthew held the position of Technology Manager, Security at both Presidio Networked Solutions from December 2009 to January 2012 and Coleman Technologies from May 2000 to December 2009. Matthew's early work experience includes being a Sr Network Engineer at DeCarlo Paternite & Associates from January 1999 to May 2000.

Matthew Shell has a diverse education and certification background. In 1993, they enrolled at the University of Maryland and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance in 1997. Later on, in 2010, Matthew pursued their MBA at Duke University, specifically at The Fuqua School of Business, completing it in 2011.

Additionally, Matthew has obtained various certifications throughout their career. In June 2023, they acquired certifications in "Building a Second Brain: Organize Your Digital Life (Book Bite)" and "Connectable: Moving Your Team from Isolated to All In (Book Bite)" from LinkedIn. Matthew also obtained the "Positive Psychology: Martin E. P. Seligman's Visionary Science" certification from Coursera and the "Prepare for the Microsoft 365 Certified: Fundamentals Certification Exam (MS-900)" certification from LinkedIn, both in June 2023.
