Joakeem Gaston has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Joakeem started their career in 2014 as a Junior Staff at Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston, where they worked on creating lesson plans and executing projects with children aged 8-12. Joakeem then interned at Relevant24 from 2017 to 2018, gaining valuable experience in presenting products, using Photoshop, and following directions.

In 2020, Joakeem started working as a Camera Operator at Church In The Son and as a Podcast Editor at Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston. Joakeem also pursued freelance photography under the name Joakeem Gaston Photography.

Joakeem later joined iZotope, Inc. in 2020, initially as a Customer Care Agent (Seasonal) and then as a Customer Care Agent until 2023. Joakeem provided support and assistance to customers during their time at the company.

Additionally, Joakeem has actively contributed to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston since 2022. Joakeem served as the Co-Chair and later the Chair of the Joshua Kraft Mattapan Teen Center, where they led an advisory board, planned events, engaged with the community and youth, prepared members for the workforce, and provided mentorship.

Most recently, in 2023, Joakeem joined Descript as a Customer Support Representative.

Joakeem Gaston obtained an Associate's degree in Show Production from Full Sail University, from the year 2018 to 2020. Before that, Joakeem completed their high school education and received a High School Diploma from Newton South High School, during the period from 2014 to 2018. Additionally, Joakeem obtained a certification in "Organizing Your Remote Office for Maximum Productivity" from LinkedIn in January 2021.
