Ann Prettyman

Ann Prettyman, MBA has over 20 years of work experience in finance and accounting. Ann has held various leadership roles in different organizations.

From 1991 to 1997, they worked as a Senior Accounting Manager at McKesson, a Fortune 10 healthcare company, where they led financial processes and systems management.

In 1997-1998, they served as a Controller at Sunwest PEO, Inc., where they were responsible for financial setup, internal controls, and financial operations.

From 1999 to 2000, they were the Corporate Controller at CareBridge, Inc., overseeing the financial and administrative aspects of the startup company.

In 1999, they also briefly worked as a Senior Accounting Manager at Tenet Physician Services, leading the conversion strategy and integration of 250 Physician Practices to Tenet.

From 2000 to 2001, they worked as a Transition Project Manager at Comsys/Leapsource, Inc., driving process improvements and implementing best practices for the startup company.

Since 2001, Ann has been associated with Desert Financial Credit Union (DFCU). Ann initially served as the Senior Director and Controller, responsible for accounting and financial processes. In 2009, they were promoted to Assistant Vice President/Controller, leading financial objectives, strategy, and shareholder value. Ann played a key role in invigorating the brand and enabling unprecedented growth by leveraging business intelligence. Ann also had executive leadership responsibilities for internal controls, financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and infrastructure optimization.

Ann Prettyman, MBA, has a strong educational background with a focus on finance, accounting, and computer science. Ann obtained their Premier Graduate-level Financial Services Program certificate from Pacific Coast Banking School between 2012 and 2014. During this program, Ann gained knowledge in current banking regulations, risk and asset liability management, finance, marketing, and management.

Prior to that, Ann completed their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from the University of Phoenix, specializing in accounting and computer science. This degree was earned between 1995 and 1998, showcasing their advanced knowledge in both fields.

Furthermore, Ann holds a Bachelor's degree from Montana Technological University, achieved between 1982 and 1986. Their studies focused on computer science and business finance, providing a solid foundation in these areas.

Additionally, Ann has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in accounting and business/management from the University of Phoenix.
