Vishal Riya

Vishal Riya is the current Chief Financial Officer at Desert Group. Vishal has over 15 years of experience in finance and accounting. Vishal started their career as a Qualified Auditor at S. V. Ghatalia Associates and then moved to Pannell Kerr Forster, Dubai UAE where they worked as a Senior, Audit & Management Assurance. In 2008, Vishal joined Emirates Investment & Development Co. as their Business Finance Controller and then in 2012 they joined Aneja Associates as their Senior, Management Advisory Services.

Vishal Riya has a Master of Business Administration from the University of Bradford and is a Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. Vishal has a certification in Strategic and Financial Management from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.

They are on a team with Ian Gammond - General Manager, Desert Turfcare, Antoun Chahin - General Manager, Desert Landscape Company, and Paul Knightley - General Manager, Desert Leisure Swimming Pool. Vishal Riya reports to Michael Mascarenhas, Group CEO.
