Jason Tso

Jason Tso has a diverse work experience in the field of IT and technology. Jason has held various leadership positions in different organizations. From 2018 to present, they have worked at Destination Canada as the Executive Director of IT and Cyber Security. Prior to that, they served as the Executive Director of IT and Facilities at Destination Canada from 2018 to 2023.

Before joining Destination Canada, Jason worked at Absolute Results from 2015 to 2018, where they were the Director of Technology and also served as the Data Protection Officer. From 2011 to 2015, they were the Manager of Information Technology at King & Bay West Management Corp.

Jason'searlier experience includes working at Uniserve Communications as the Client Services Manager - Business Services from 2009 to 2011, at TELUS as a Pre-Sales Solution Architect from 2004 to 2009, and at Elk Valley Coal as the Service Manager (Telus Consultant) from 2008 to 2009.

Jason has also worked with Teck Resources Limited (formerly Teck Cominco Limited) as the Service Desk Manager (Telus Consultant) in 2007, with VANOC as the Deskside Support Lead (Telus Consultant) from 2005 to 2006, with Westport Innovations as the System Administrator (Telus Consultant) from 2005 to 2005, and with Electronic Arts as the Project Coordinator (Telus Consultant) from 2004 to 2005.

Jason Tso completed the CIOCAN Leadership Development Program at the Beedie School of Business at Simon Fraser University from 2016 to 2017. In 2002 to 2003, they also attended the British Columbia Institute of Technology and completed the Network Specialist Professional Program. Furthermore, in 2000 to 2001, they completed the Technical Support Professional Program at the same institution. From 2018 to 2021, Jason Tso attended the Beedie School of Business at Simon Fraser University, but the field of study and degree obtained are not specified.
