Samantha Sant is the current Director of Catering Sales at Detroit Yacht Club. Samantha has also previously worked as the Senior Catering Sales Manager and as an Associate Planner & Event Manager. In their current role, they are responsible for selling space at the historic property for weddings, corporate and social events. Samantha also takes inquiries from online or via phone and provides tours. Additionally, they create contracts, processes payments, schedules tastings and curates floor plans for all events. Prior to their current role, they were responsible for planning and executing a high volume of dedicated member events including sports groups, board meetings, pool parties and galas.
Samantha Sant has a Bachelor of Arts in Hospitality Business from Michigan State University. Samantha also has a certification in diversity, equity and inclusion in the workplace from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education. Additionally, they have a certification in event leadership institute from the University of South Florida and a certification in hospitality and tourism management from Florida Atlantic University.
