Martina Taverna

Martina Taverna has a diverse work experience background, starting as a Program Support Officer at Citizenship and Immigration Canada in 2011. Martina then moved on to roles such as Lead Project Manager at the Canadian High Commission to Mozambique, and Innovation Consultant at the Jalisco Secretariat of Innovation, Science, and Technology. In their most recent role, they served as Director of Business Development at Development Seed from October 2022. Throughout their career, Martina has shown expertise in grant consultancy, project management, and digital product development.

Martina Taverna completed their Honours Bachelor of Social Sciences degree with a specialization in Political Sciences and a Minor in Arabic from the University of Ottawa in 2013. Martina went on to pursue their Master of Global Affairs degree with a focus on Global Markets at the University of Toronto, completing it in 2015.
