David Sutley

David Sutley, P.E. is a Senior Project Manager at Dewberry, specializing in innovative flood risk management solutions for complex technical and communication challenges since October 2019. Previously, David served as a Senior Project Manager and Hydraulic Engineer at FEMA, focusing on community education and risk communication to mitigate long-term hazards from September 2013 to September 2019. David also worked as a Hydrologist at NOAA, developing forecasts for the lower Mississippi River, and as a Hydraulic Engineer at the Bureau of Reclamation, conducting flood hydrology evaluations across the Western United States. David's early career included a role as a Civil Engineer at the US Army Corps of Engineers, where responsibilities included data analysis and hydrologic modeling. David earned a Master’s degree in Water Resources Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from The University of Alabama.
