Marios Passaris

Marios Passaris has a diverse work experience in the software development field. Marios started their career in 2012 as a Web Developer and Technical Consultant at K.MICHOS and later worked at Haroutioun Tsinarian & CO Ο.Ε. as a Web Developer and Technical Consultant. In 2015, they joined Digital Minds Ltd as a Software Developer and Technical Consultant, where they worked on data retrieval and management projects using Java, Kibana, Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Polymer 1.

In 2017, Marios joined CGI as a Software Developer, focusing on various software development projects until 2019. Marios then moved to Guardtime, where they worked as a Software Engineer, specializing in Go development for healthcare decentralized systems and blockchain applications.

From 2020 to 2022, Marios worked at Atellio, first as a Senior Software Engineer and then as a Lead Software Engineer, leading backend engineering teams and implementing microservices, real-time event communication, search and filtering systems, and a File System Service. Marios also contributed to architectural designs and used Docker Swarm and Terraform for infrastructure as code.

In 2020, Marios also worked at Orange Quest as a CTO and Quant Engineer, where they focused on implementing and optimizing mathematical algorithms using Go and building communication systems between backend services and frontend UIs.

Currently, Marios works at Dexory as a Lead Software Engineer, leading software development projects in a leadership role.

Marios Passaris completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Ethnikon kai Kapodistriakon Panepistimion Athinon from 2011 to 2015. Prior to that, they attended Geitonas School from 2009 to 2011 in the Technical and Science Sector. In addition to their formal education, Marios also obtained several certifications including Web Components & Stencil.js from Udemy in May 2020, Google Cloud Platform Fundamentals from ROI Training in February 2017, and Certification of Proficiency in English (ECPE) from the University of Michigan in December 2014. Marios also obtained certifications in Lab Service for mobile phones from Samsung Electronics in October 2014, Development for Window Mobile phone from Microsoft in February 2011, Broadband Networks from Educational Forum Festival Fitisis in January 2011, and Internet Marketing from Educational Forum Festival Fitisis in January 2011. Furthermore, Marios achieved an IELTS Academic Score of 7.0 from IELTS USA in January 2016 and holds a Goethe-Zertifikat B1 from Goethe-Institut e.V. Information regarding the obtained month and year is not available for the Goethe-Zertifikat B1 and Polymer Project v2.0 Summit London certifications.
