Cody Sheffels

Software Engineer at Dextrous Robotics

Cody Sheffels is a software engineer at Dextrous Robotics, where they have worked since September 2021. Previously, they worked as a GNC analyst and GNC software engineer for an ESPASat program at Northrop Grumman from June 2018 to September 2021. Cody also interned at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory from May 2017 to August 2017, where they worked on the NISAR mission with an emphasis on fault protection and systems-level software. In addition, Cody has held positions as a digital services solutions intern at GE Aviation from May 2016 to August 2016 and as a seasonal worker at the City of Redmond from June 2015 to August 2015.

Cody Sheffels received a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Michigan College of Engineering. Cody also has a Computer Science Minor from Eastlake High School.

They work with Michael Earle - Mechanical Engineer, Giho Jang - Software Engineer, and Alex Soare - Senior Perception Engineer. Cody Sheffels reports to Sam Zapolsky, CTO.
