Jayasankar Santhosh

Jayasankar Santhosh is a Doctoral Researcher at the Deutsches Forschungszentrum für Künstliche Intelligenz (DFKI) since November 2019, focusing on Deep Learning and Sensor-Based Learning Analytics in the educational domain. Research efforts involve the use of physiological sensors and eye-tracking to analyze student engagement and develop tailored deep neural networks for learning analysis. Previously, Jayasankar served as a Teaching Assistant at RPTU Kaiserslautern-Landau from September 2022 to March 2023, teaching Neurocognitive Computing and exploring the intersection of machine learning and neuroscience. Earlier experience includes a role as a Research Assistant at DFKI from August 2017 to March 2019, where Jayasankar worked on document analysis using Machine Learning and Deep Learning techniques. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Computer Science from RPTU Kaiserslautern-Landau and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Mahatma Gandhi University.
