Jeremy Coffelt

Guest Scientist At The Robotics Innovation Center at Deutsches Forschungszentrum für Künstliche Intelligenz (DFKI)

Jeremy Coffelt is a Software Engineer specializing in Simulation and AI/ML/CV for Subsea Robotics at Rosenxt Group, with prior experience as a Software Developer for AI in AUVs at ROSEN. Jeremy has contributed to the field of robotics as a Visiting Researcher at the German Institute for Artificial Intelligence, and as an Engineering Intern at NASA, where responsibilities included developing commissioning protocols for embedded systems on the ISS. Academic involvement includes roles as a Student Researcher at Texas A&M University and an Instructor of Engineering and Mathematics at Blinn College, in addition to authoring educational materials for McGraw-Hill Education. Jeremy is pursuing a PhD in Computer Science at the University of Bremen, following a Master's degree in Automation and Robot Technology from DTU - Technical University of Denmark, and holding a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Midwestern State University.
