Paul Nieuwenhuis

Paul Nieuwenhuis is an experienced software developer and architect with a strong background in building and deploying scalable platforms and microservices. Currently a Scala Developer at DHL eCommerce Nederland since August 2023, Paul has been involved in developing applications for DHL Servicepoints and ParcelStation lockers in the Netherlands. As the Owner and Freelance Full Stack Developer at Newhouse IT Consultancy since October 2016, Paul has focused on creating microservices-based web platforms and Internal Developer Platforms for enterprises. Previous roles include Cloud Architect at Early Wave, Lead Developer at Coöperatie VGZ, and Platform Architect at Agrifirm, among others. Paul has expertise in technologies including Azure, NodeJS, React, Scala, and microservices architecture and has contributed significantly to various high-profile projects throughout a career that began after completing education at Saxion University of Applied Sciences.
