Matthew Lawley

Matthew Lawley is an experienced fundraising and events management professional with a diverse background in the charity sector. Currently serving as the Senior Community Fundraising Manager at Diabetes UK since January 2020, Matthew has previously held key positions such as UK Events Manager at Skyline Events and Community and Events Manager at MS Society. Additional experience includes roles at Charity Checkout as Events Partnerships Manager and over a decade at Bloodwise, where Matthew advanced from Running & Triathlon Manager to Head of Sports Events. Early career experience includes a Commercial Manager position at Marks and Spencer and a Marketing Communications Intern role at Hewlett-Packard. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Retail Marketing and Distribution from The University of Huddersfield.
