Umesh Samarasekera

Umesh Samarasekera has a diverse work experience across multiple companies and roles. Umesh started their career in 2017 as an Internal Audit Intern at Dialog Axiata PLC. Umesh then moved on to Associated Motor Finance Company PLC, where they worked as an Executive in Management Information Systems for two years. In 2020, they joined Just In Time Group as a Data Analyst. Currently, Umesh is working at Dialog Axiata PLC as a Senior Executive in Business Intelligence Analytics and also holds the role of Associate Lead Data Scientist.

Umesh Samarasekera completed their exams and became a Finalist in the CIMA program, focusing on Accounting and Business/Management, from 2015 to 2016. Prior to that, they attended Trinity College Kandy from 2001 to 2014, however, no specific degree or field of study was provided. Additionally, Umesh obtained a certification in "Python for Data Science Essential Training Part 2" from LinkedIn in 2023.
