Prasad Chavan is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in the technology sector. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering at Diamond Foundry since June 2021, Prasad has also held the position of Engineering Manager. Prior to this role, Prasad worked at Western Digital from August 2011 to June 2021, where Prasad advanced from Technologist to Principal Engineer. Prasad's career began at Seagate Technology as a Development Engineer on the HAMR Productization Team, followed by a role as a Manufacturing Engineer. Early experience includes positions as a Graduate Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant at the University of North Dakota, as well as a Project Engineer at GIT Associates.
