William Kauachi

William Kauachi has a diverse work experience in the field of information security, with their most recent position being the Director of Information Security at Diamond Offshore since 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Lead Security Architect / Senior ICS Security Architect at Celanese from 2021 to 2022 and as a Lead ICS Security Systems Engineer at Accenture in 2021. From 2012 to 2021, they worked at Marathon Oil Corporation as the SCADA Network and Security Architect | Senior IT Specialist. William began their career in 2004 at SAIC, where they served as a Security Analyst / Engineer. Overall, William has demonstrated expertise in network and firewall infrastructure management, security policy design, risk assessment, and incident response coordination.

William Kauachi holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in English Language and Literature from The University of Texas at Austin. In addition, they have obtained several certifications including GIAC Strategic Planning, Policy, and Leadership (GSTRT) from GIAC Certifications in 2022, Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) from (ISC)² in 2021, and AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon in 2020.
