Director, New Product Development at Diamond V

Victor Nsereko Ph.D., FRSB has diverse work experience in various companies and research institutes. Their most recent role is as a Research Portfolio Manager for Cargill, where they are involved in the USAID TRANSFORM project. Victor is also the Founder of Lukango Tree Conservancy (LuTreeCo).

Prior to these positions, Victor worked at Diamond V, serving in several roles including Director of New Product Development, New Product Development Manager, Senior Research Scientist, and Principal Microbiologist. Victor was responsible for leading new product development activities, conducting in-house animal trials, and overseeing research and microbiology initiatives.

Before joining Diamond V, they worked as a Microbiologist at the Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship, and as a Chemist at Pioneer Hi-Bred International Inc. At Pioneer, Victor played a significant role in initiating and leading research and development efforts for feed additive products in the beef and dairy industries. Victor also supervised R&D staff and coordinated third-party testing at research institutes and universities.

Additionally, Victor served as a NSERC Visiting Research Fellow at Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada and as a Visiting Scientist at the Rowett Research Institute. Overall, their work experience demonstrates their expertise in research, product development, microbiology, and agriculture.

Victor Nsereko Ph.D., FRSB completed their education with a Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture, specializing in Animal Science, from the University of Aberdeen from 1987 to 1991. Victor then pursued a Ph.D. in Animal Nutrition from the same university, which they successfully completed from 1992 to 1996. Prior to their university education, they attended Trinity Catholic High School from 1983 to 1987. Additionally, they studied at St. Mary's College Kisubi in 1981 and 1982.
