Zachary Deck

Zachary Deck, MBA has a diverse work experience in the energy industry and engineering projects. Zachary joined Diamondback Energy in 2018 and has held roles as a Senior Reservoir Engineer and a Senior Production Engineer. In these positions, they have been responsible for optimizing reservoir performance and overseeing production operations. Prior to Diamondback Energy, Zachary worked as a Mechanical Engineer at BCCK Holding Company in 2017. Zachary also has experience in Drilling, Completion, and Production Engineering at Discovery Operating from 2014 to 2017, where they were involved in well design, coordinating vendors, overseeing well work-over jobs, and tracking well production. Before transitioning to the energy sector, Zachary worked at the Central Intelligence Agency as an Engineer/Project Manager from 2009 to 2014.

Zachary Deck, MBA, has a strong educational background in both finance and engineering. Zachary completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Finance, General from The University of Texas Permian Basin from 2017 to 2022. Prior to their MBA, they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from Oklahoma State University, which they completed between 2006 and 2011. In addition, Zachary has obtained a certification in Fundamentals of Engineering Accreditation from NCEES.
