Jan Thomas Otte

Jan Thomas Otte is an expert in digital ethics, leadership, and sustainability with extensive experience spanning academia and industry. Currently serving as an Expert on Digital Ethics at Digethic GmbH since January 2021, Jan plays a pivotal role in educating individuals on corporate responsibility and the ethical implications of digitalization. Concurrently, Jan has been a Lecturer at HTWG Hochschule Konstanz since January 2017, focusing on ethical challenges in the IT sector and digitization. Previous roles include Reverend with the Evangelische Kirche in Deutschland, where Jan conducted research on artificial intelligence and social ethics, and Senior Manager at Swisscom, overseeing transformation projects in the banking sector. Earlier experience includes a management consultant role at Accenture, specializing in the life sciences industry, and a research fellowship at Princeton University.
