Saswata Chakraborty

Saswata Chakraborty has had a varied and successful career in research and engineering. Saswata began in 2008 as a Graduate Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant-Undergraduate Organic Chemistry at Bowling Green State University. In 2010, they moved to the University of Wisconsin-Madison in the same roles. In 2014, they joined 3M as a Research Specialist and Senior Research Chemist. In 2021, they moved to Pacific Biosciences as a Staff Scientist and in 2022, they joined DigiLens Inc. as a Lead Scientist & Engineer.

Saswata Chakraborty completed their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Chemistry from St. Xavier's College, Kolkata in 2006. Saswata then went on to pursue their Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Chemistry from the University of Calcutta in 2008. Following that, they earned their Master of Science (M.S.) in Organic Chemistry from Bowling Green State University in 2010. Finally, they completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Chemistry from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2014.
