Natalie Nicolas

Natalie Nicolas is a Senior Research Scientist at Irradiant Technologies since January 2024, bringing extensive experience in materials science and engineering. Previously, Natalie was a Graduate Student Researcher and Laboratory Safety Officer at Harvard University from July 2018 to January 2024, where significant contributions included investigating nanostructured silica surfaces and mentoring students on waterproof coatings and diagnostic sensors. Additional roles included teaching positions at Harvard University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, involvement in research at prestigious institutions such as Caltech and the University of Oxford, and internship experience at Illumina and Scripps Institution of Oceanography. Natalie holds a PhD and a Master’s in Materials Science and Mechanical Engineering from Harvard University, and a Bachelor’s degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
