Gaurav Sajwan

Gaurav Sajwan has several years of experience in the field of DevOps and support engineering. Gaurav started their career in 2011 as a Support Engineer at HCL Technologies, where they provided technical support for client issues related to servers and VM applications. Gaurav also resolved hardware/software/network problems for customers via telephone, email, and chat.

In 2012, Gaurav joined Dell as a Support Engineer, where they continued to provide phone and electronic-based support to customers, analyzing technical complications and providing resolutions to ensure customer satisfaction.

Moving forward, Gaurav joined Macy's in 2015 as a Build and Release Engineer. Gaurav was responsible for implementing a continuous integration process and participated in weekly release meetings to mitigate potential risks associated with software releases. Gaurav also maintained build systems and developed build scripts.

In 2016, Gaurav joined The Weather Company, an IBM Business, as a Release/Infrastructure Engineer. Here, they advised teams on Git repository setup and source code migrations. Gaurav assisted in setting up distributed Jenkins continuous integration processes and integrating build automation scripts. Gaurav also worked on planning and executing the migration of media and GIS data files into GitHub. Gaurav had experience with Atlassian products and created CI/CD pipelines using cloud formation and infrastructure as code.

From 2016 to 2020, Gaurav worked at XebiaLabs as a DevOps Consultant. Gaurav provided expertise in devops practices and worked on various projects involving continuous builds, implementing additional tools and automation as needed. Gaurav worked with Jenkins builds, Microsoft symbol server, and Git LFS for migrating data files. Gaurav had experience with Agile software development, Perforce SCM, and Perl or bash scripting.

Currently, Gaurav is working at Digital.ai as a DevOps/Support Engineer, starting in 2020. No specific end date is mentioned for this role.
