Alberto Casu

Alberto Casu has a range of work experience in the field of 3D art and modeling. Alberto started their career at Sapa Profiler AB as a Human Resources Assistant in 2010. From there, they pursued their passion for visual effects and enrolled at the Gnomon School of Visual Effects, where they studied from 2011 to 2013. During this time, they also worked at various companies on a freelance basis, including Hyphen Studios, Art + Science Labs, and Rogue Gallery, gaining experience in 3D modeling, texturing, and look development.

In 2013, Alberto joined SpaceStation 76 as a 3D Modeler, contributing to the creation of visual effects for the film. Alberto then transitioned to MPC in 2014, where they worked as a 3D Environment Artist and continued to refine their skills until 2015. Alberto's most recent position was at Digital Domain 3.0, where they also worked as a 3D Environment Artist.

Alberto Casu has a diverse educational background. From 2011 to 2013, they attended the Gnomon School of Visual Effects, Games + Animation, where they studied Visual Effects. During the same period, they also pursued a degree in Digital Production for Entertainment at the Gnomon School of Visual Effects. Prior to that, from 2008 to 2010, Alberto attended the Università degli Studi di Padova, where they earned a Dottore degree in Politics and International Diplomacy. Their undergraduate studies were focused on History and International Relations, which they completed from 2004 to 2007 at the same institution, Università degli Studi di Padova, obtaining a Dottore in the field.
