Liz Mackie

Liz Mackie has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Liz currently works as a Frontend Architect at Digital Polygon, a position they have held since 2021. Prior to this, Liz worked at Acquia from 2014 to 2021, initially starting as a Drupal Developer Apprentice before becoming a Front End Developer. During their time at Acquia, they received extensive training in Drupal development and actively contributed to projects such as the Benefit Cosmetics website.

Before joining Acquia, Liz held various roles at Laspau from 2004 to 2014, including Communications and Outreach Officer, Web Coordinator, Communications Assistant/Editorial Assistant III, and Publications & Accounting Assistant. Liz was responsible for communication and web coordination tasks, as well as providing administrative support.

From 2002 to 2003, Liz worked as an Administrative Assistant at Harvard School of Dental Medicine, and from 2000 to 2002, they served as a Designer at William K. Bradford Publishing. Additionally, they gained experience as an Assistant Designer in Marketing at Houghton Mifflin Harcourt - Houghton Mifflin Interactive (HMI) / Sunburst Technology Corp. from 1999 to 2000.

Liz started their career as a Publications Officer Assistant (internship) at LASPAU Academic & Professional Programs in 1996.

In 2005, they enrolled at the Harvard Extension School, where they studied Web/Multimedia/Publishing until 2009 but did not earn a degree. In 2018-2019, Liz attended Harvard and pursued studies in Computer Science without obtaining a degree. In 2014, they also participated in Technology Bootcamps, but the field of study and degree they pursued at this institution are not specified.
