Berkant Akgüvercin

Berkant Akgüvercin has a diverse work experience in various engineering and software development roles. Berkant is currently serving as the Head of Engineering at Digital Turbine since 2022. Previously, they held the same position at AdColony, which was acquired by Digital Turbine, from 2018 to 2022.

Prior to these roles, Berkant worked at iKampus as a Senior Software Development Engineer and Co-Owner. Berkant was responsible for running the development process of educational and industrial projects, developing smart systems, and information systems.

Berkant also worked as an Independent Software Consultant at Pikotek R&D from 2016 to 2018. Before that, they held the position of Senior Software Development Engineer at Haylaz Robot |o_o| from 2016 to 2017.

Berkant started their career as a Systems and Software Engineer at Gediz University from 2013 to 2016. Berkant later joined Izmir Union of Chambers of Tradesmen and Craftsmen as an IT Specialist from 2012 to 2013.

Berkant began their professional journey as a Software & System Support Technician at Veri Yazılım Project Consultant Services from 2008 to 2011. Overall, Berkant Akgüvercin has gained extensive experience in engineering, software development, and IT roles throughout their career.

Berkant Akgüvercin completed their education with a Master's degree in Systems Engineering from Izmir Katip Celebi University, which they pursued from 2014 to 2018. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business from Anadolu Üniversitesi, where they studied from 2011 to 2013. Before their bachelor's degree, they completed an Associate's degree in Computer Programming from Dokuz Eylul University, which they pursued from 2009 to 2011. Additionally, Berkant Akgüvercin has obtained several certifications, including Model of Perfection Training from the Association Quality of Turkey in January 2013, Internal and External Audit Coordination, Quality Management System Documentation, and Total Quality Management, all from Dokuz Eylül University - Izmir Vocational School in December 2012.
