Amanda Morrison

Amanda Morrison has been working in the design and animation fields since 2016. In 2017, they began an internship at Daily Planet Health Services as an Animation Intern, creating animations and videos to educate patrons on health, wellness, and medical topics. In 2019, they joined Unboxed Training & Technology as an Animator, collaborating with Content Strategists and Animators to create 2D animations for a variety of clients. Currently, Amanda is a UI/UX Designer at Dignari, LLC, where they are the primary UI/UX designer on a multitude of government-client projects. Amanda designs and delivers wireframes, user stories, user flows, site maps, and mockups optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces, applying UI/UX best practices with a user-centered design approach.

Amanda Morrison obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts - BFA in Kinetic Imaging from Virginia Commonwealth University School of the Arts in 2019. In 2021, they obtained certifications in UI Design from CareerFoundry, Frontend Development for Designers from CareerFoundry, and UI Immersion from CareerFoundry. In 2020, they obtained an Intro to UI Design certification from CareerFoundry. In 2022, they obtained an Interaction Design for Usability certification from Interaction Design Foundation (IxDF), a Membership Certificate from The Interaction Design Foundation, and a Web Accessibility certification from Udacity.
